Description
Costa Mesa Sanitary District (CMSD), in partnership with waste hauler CR&R Environmental Services, is hosting a free drive-thru compost giveaway event for CMSD customers at Estancia High School in Costa Mesa on Saturday, May 20th from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Event Details:
- Eligibility: attendees must show proof of residence in Costa Mesa to avail of free compost. This can include a driver's license, ID, or utility bills.
- Eligible residents can take home:
- 2 bags of compost per household, while supplies last; and
- 1 countertop kitchen pail per household, while supplies last.
- Attendees must remain in their vehicles throughout the drive-thru and follow traffic control signs and signals.
- The event will end promptly at 12 PM and no entries will be permitted after that time.
